Creating Community Fund

Creating Community  =  Foundry Hall is working to create community and we support our creative community.  Everyone is welcome.

Fund = money to sustain our community programming, help fund school projects and create free community performance opportunities in the area.

Where does the money come from?

Donations from the community collected at events and programs (big shout out to Open Mic fans!),  grant funding from organizations, foundations and individuals that want to see our creating community flourish.

A special thank you to the South Haven chapter of Women Who Care and to The Greater South Haven Community Foundation for continued support!

History

The “Community Music Fund” was started in 2015 with a grant from the South Haven Community Foundation.  The fund was set up as a reserve to support local musicians and provide free performances for the community.  Free will donations from concerts and programming are deposited in the fund and used to compensate performers for concerts, other non-profit events and to help fund some school based projects.  Foundry Hall has recently renamed the fund the “Creating Community Fund”or “CCF“to include the art, dance, theater and other potential opportunities in the future.  We changed our logo from Community Music to Creating Community, too.
